1. About these terms
These terms are between you and Cedarkeep LLC and apply to the Peblumi app, its content, and its marketing website. “Peblumi,” “we,” and “us” refer to Cedarkeep LLC, whose details appear in Contact us. “You” means the adult using the service or arranging access for a child.
By choosing to download or use Peblumi as an adult, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Children are not asked to enter into a contract independently. Parents or legal guardians arrange and supervise their access.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Agreeing to these terms is not consent to unrelated data collection or a substitute for any parental consent required by law.
A few things to know
- Peblumi is for personal, noncommercial enjoyment with a grown-up’s involvement.
- Selected starter books are free; optional collections use one-time purchases.
- Progress and coloring are stored locally. Peblumi does not provide an account or cloud backup.
- Your statutory consumer rights continue to apply.
2. Grown-ups and children
The stories are designed for children approximately 18 months to 6 years old. An adult with legal capacity to agree to these terms should set up the app. A parent or legal guardian must authorize a child’s use and any purchases; caregivers should follow that parent’s or guardian’s instructions.
You are responsible for choosing content and activities appropriate for the child, supervising device use, and managing the device’s purchase and parental-control settings. The app’s grown-up gate helps separate purchase options from play, but it is not a guarantee against unauthorized purchases or a replacement for supervision.
3. Permission to use Peblumi
Subject to these terms and any applicable store license, you may use the app and content you are entitled to access for your personal, noncommercial family use on devices you own or control. Access is licensed; it does not transfer ownership of Peblumi’s software or content.
You must not distribute or resell the app or its story library, bypass paid-access controls, remove ownership notices, interfere with the service, or use it unlawfully. Restrictions on modifying or reverse engineering the software apply only to the extent allowed by law and do not limit rights granted by applicable open-source licenses.
For an app obtained from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the software license unless a separate custom license is provided with the listing. These service terms supplement that license and do not replace it. The applicable store’s rules govern store transactions; mandatory law prevails over any conflicting provision.
4. Free starter books and optional purchases
The app offers selected free starter books for the child’s chosen age group. The current selection includes two Montessori books and one book from each other series in that age group. Choosing a different browsing filter does not grant a new free collection.
Where available, you can make a one-time purchase to unlock an age collection or the full library. There is no recurring Peblumi subscription in the current offering. The price, applicable taxes, and included content shown at the time of purchase govern that purchase. No payment is taken through this marketing website.
A one-time purchase is not a promise of perpetual device compatibility, indefinite technical support, or access to every separately released product. Any future-content entitlement must be stated in the offer. We will honor the access described when you buy, subject to applicable consumer law.
Apple processes App Store payments, and RevenueCat helps verify purchase access. Purchases must be authorized by an adult using the applicable store account. Pending purchases unlock after the store and purchase service confirm them. An internet connection may be required.
Use the in-app restore-purchases option with the same store account to recover eligible purchases. Restoration recovers purchase access, not deleted reading progress or artwork. Cross-platform access and Family Sharing are not promised unless explicitly included in the store offer.
For App Store purchases, request a refund through Apple’s refund service. Eligibility depends on the store’s rules and applicable law. Contact us if you need help with access. Nothing in these terms removes a refund, cancellation, repair, replacement, or other remedy that the law requires.
5. Local storage and connectivity
Peblumi keeps reading progress, favorites, age preferences, saved activities, and coloring work on the device. It does not provide a Peblumi login, a cloud database for that work, or synchronization between devices.
Removing the app or its data, resetting or replacing a device, storage problems, or device failures can remove saved work. Device-level backup and transfer features are controlled by your device provider and settings. We cannot recover a local file that we never received.
Installed content is intended for local use, but store downloads, purchase checks, purchases, restoration, and external links can need internet access. Third-party purchase-service availability can affect recognition of paid content. The app is not represented as entirely disconnected from the internet.
6. Stories, artwork, and your creations
Peblumi and its licensors retain their rights in the app, story text, illustrations, audio, branding, and other supplied material. You may enjoy that material within the rights granted by the app and its store license, but may not commercially reproduce or redistribute it without permission.
You retain any rights you have in your original creative contributions, such as your coloring choices. The underlying illustrations remain subject to their existing rights. Peblumi does not claim a license to upload, publish, or market your child’s local artwork merely because it was created in the app.
The website showcases book artwork and titles. Books are not available to open or read on the website. Viewing this material does not grant ownership of the underlying content.
7. Learning and real-world activities
Peblumi provides stories and ideas for play, creativity, and shared discovery. It is not a medical, developmental, therapeutic, or diagnostic service. Suggested ages are guides, and we do not guarantee any particular learning or developmental outcome.
Real-world Little Adventures require a grown-up’s judgment and supervision. Choose suitable materials and surroundings, consider the child’s abilities and any allergies, and adapt or skip an activity when needed. Keep small objects, water, food, tools, and other potential hazards under appropriate adult control. This guidance does not limit any legal responsibility we cannot exclude.
8. Changes and availability
We may make reasonable changes to improve content, fix issues, maintain security, or meet legal requirements. Compatibility and feature availability can vary by device, operating system, region, or app version. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of our website or third-party services.
Changes do not remove protections that apply to content you have already purchased. Where a change materially affects paid access, we will give any notice and remedies required by law. Future products, features, or release dates are not part of a purchase unless expressly included in the offer.
We may update these terms and will identify the new date. Material changes will receive additional notice when required, and we will obtain agreement where legally necessary. Changes will not retroactively take away accrued rights.
9. Responsibility and your consumer rights
We aim to provide Peblumi with reasonable care and skill. Except for express promises and warranties that cannot legally be excluded, we do not promise that the app will be error-free, work on every device, or produce a particular result.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, losses caused by your unlawful use, or business losses arising from use of this personal, noncommercial service. This does not excuse our failure to meet legal duties.
Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing limits mandatory consumer guarantees, remedies, or privacy rights. If local law gives you greater protection than these terms, that protection applies.
10. Ending use
You can stop using Peblumi at any time. Removing the app may delete local work; it does not automatically refund a purchase or delete store transaction records. There is no Peblumi account to close.
To request deletion, use Contact Support in the app or email support@cedarkeep.com. No login or purchase is required. We handle requests manually as explained in our Privacy Policy, including verification and any effect on paid access. A deletion request does not automatically request a refund or erase files stored only on your device. Your statutory rights remain unchanged.
We may restrict use where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these terms or legal requirements, with notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue where appropriate and required. This does not remove statutory rights relating to paid content. Provisions about ownership, valid outstanding obligations, and resolving disputes continue to apply where relevant after use ends.
11. Questions and disputes
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or take away your right to seek a remedy from a competent court or consumer authority. Applicable law determines governing law and jurisdiction, including any mandatory protections available where you live.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the rest of the terms remain effective to the extent allowed by law. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
